Community Manager
at innocent drinks
- London, United Kingdom
- Full Time
- Posted today
Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).
It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.
Our Community Managers are the legends who look after our drinkers. As a Community Manager Specialist, you'll be the eyes and ears of what our drinkers are saying and pass those insights on to the innocent team. You'll be writing and chatting to our drinkers every day, be that via our emails, on social media, through our banana phone, or even in person. So, someone who’s happy to get stuck into an array of customer enquiries each day, with experience writing for customer service and social media would be ideal.
You'll also get to work with our social media team to help come up with ideas to make the nonsense we do on there even better. Plus, you’ll work on how to spread the word about all the great stuff we do directly to our drinkers. We're looking for someone who loves leaving people happier than they found them. If we can make someone’s day that little bit brighter after seeing some of our work, that’s a win. Essentially, you’ll be the voice of our drinkers to the business, and the voice of our brand to our drinkers.
You’ll be…
- Quick on your feet, proactive, results-oriented and adaptable
- Methodical and detail oriented - you dot your 's and cross your t’s when using technology and following processes
- Passionate about our brand and protecting it.
- Collaborative with others - you’ll seek out the right person across the business to help you get the job done
- Interested in digital and social media trends and best practices.
- A creative at heart who loves to make people smile
- Excited to come up with creative ideas to make our drinkers’ days, and make them happen
What you’ll have…
- Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills, with attention to grammar and spelling.
- Community management and/or customer service experience.
- Great analytical skills – you're able to not just report on data, but to pull out the real insights
- Excellent problem-solving skills – you’ll always find a way to make something happen
- Experience or knowledge of managing professional (or your own) social media accounts
- A calm, positive attitude – even when balancing a crisis or serious consumer complaint
- Strong people skills with an ability to know when to be serious, funny, or a combination of the two
You’ll get…
- To develop yourself and your writing style
- To work with a wide variety of teams at innocent UK and across Europe
- To work with an award-winning social media team
- To maintain and grow brand love for innocent
- To use your creativity (and let's face it, weirdness) every day
- To work in a fun, supportive team that doesn't take itself too seriously
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.
In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.
Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
